Kristin Falk is Professor at the University of Southeastern Norway (USN) in Subsea and Systems Engineering. Her research focus is how to collaborate to make trustworthy, changeable, and sustainable engineered systems - adopted to humans.

Ansvarsområder

  • director of the Industrial Research School in Complex Systems (INRESCOS).
  • Vice-head of hte strategic research area "Regional Value Creation".
  • fronting research on systems engineering
  • teaching, and supervising masters and PhD students.
  • the scientific lead in the H-SEIF2 project on the value of big data and digitalization.
     

Kompetanse

Kristin holds a PhD in Petroleum Production and a Masters in Industrial Mathematics, both from NTNU.

She has worked with product development in the oil and gas industry for more than 20 years. Her industrial experience ranges from subsea systems development in large multinational companies to developing drilling service solutions in a start-up Company.

She has managerial experience both as project manager, Department manager and CTO.
