Abstract text – general guidelines

We invite proposals for papers and symposia from scholars working in areas related to interdisciplinary work in and through teacher education. We especially encourage research and development projects addressing current and future societal challenges to share their experiences and results.

All abstracts are due to review.

The abstract can be written in English or a Nordic language. The abstract should be 250-300 words and include the following:

  1. Abstract title
  2. Research topic/aim
  3. Theoretical framework
  4. Methodology/research design
  5. Expected results/findings

Choose one of the following types of presentation:

Paper presentation

Paper sessions consist of a presentation and a discussion of papers about ongoing or completed research projects. The timeframe for each paper presentation is 15 minutes, including discussions. In each parallel session, a maximum of four papers will be presented.

Organized symposium

An organized symposium session is planned by a symposium organizer. The papers focus on a common theme. The symposium organizer will decide how the symposium is to be organized, but should include at least three paper presentations. Ample time has to be allowed for discussion.

Required for submission:

  1. A title of the symposium, with an abstract describing the theme and its relevance.
  2. One abstract per paper included in the symposium following the general guidelines for abstracts
