We have collaborated with Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) for 16, 35 students have been on exchange here. UPC was established in 1968 as an association of technical colleges in Catalonia, and has since been expanded with other disciplines. UPC is primarily a industry orientated university, and has approx. 28,000 students. The maritime faculty is located by itself down by the port of Pla de Palau, and no more than a 10 minute walk from the famous pedestrian street "Las Ramblas". Barcelona has everything to offer students. Both city life, stand life, shopping and a bustling nightlife.
