How do you receive international students?
Yes we receive more than 500 of international students. We offer an online orientation prior to the start of classes, and we have a student association called UNITY that provides leisure activities to exchange students.
Also the spanish students organize several activities in Roof terrace, parties etc for international students.
Accommodation and cost of living
We send international students a list of outsourced providers with a discount code that applies to administration fees. They contact the providers on their own and are given myriad options to choose from. Rent is usually between 500 and 1000 euros, depending on whether it is shared. an apartment to yourself, etc. A monthly transporation card is worth 20+ euro. In Madrid, there is so many bars and restaurants that the prices goes from very high to really cheap.
Facilitation at university
We have also a department and the student will have to get in touch with them. They are in charge of helping the student with special needs.
