Share your knowledge and learn about new best practices within the EDUC Alliance! lær ny mønsterpraksis.

It is not only between students, teachers and researchers that the EDUC Alliance promotes inter-European exchange. It also aims to promote and support the staff of our partner universities.

EDUC is about collaboration and learning from each other in every sphere. Thus, we also provide new offers for non-academic staff.

With EDUC, you can find the best practices in the alliance, share what you know you do well and find new ways to embrace the challenges of this century together in collaboration and by learning from each other.

Find best practices within the alliance; share what you know and do and find new ways to tackle the challenges of our time together.

Online courses

EDUC has developed courses in intercultural communication and English language for both students and staff.

The program begins with an online course in intercultural communication, which can be taken at one's own pace. Once completed, participants are paired with employees from our partner institutions, based on their respective areas of work, and engage in oral English practice through digital, mentor-guided conversations with a partner from one of the other EDUC-universities.

Completion of the course leads to a certificate of competence, serving as documentation of having successfully completed the program.

Mentorscheme

The EDUC Staff Mentoring Programme brings together two employees (one mentor and one mentee) working in the same professional field, of two different EDUC universities, to foster professional development and career growth while building an inclusive European culture and multiplying networks.

For the pilot phase in 2024 recruitment is open for administrative staff members from international offices and European project offices.

Staff Weeks / Job shadowing / Mobility

EDUC organizes thematic Staff Weeks aimed at different staff groups across our eight universities.

The objective is to create networks across the alliance and learn from each other.

This involves physical mobility to partner institutions and is supported through Erasmus mobility grants for staff mobility.

Interoffice cooperation

Selected administrative units at all partner institutions are chosen to collaborate more closely across EDUC in order to develop common practices in several areas. For now, these are, international offices, student services, libraries, language senters and sustainable development senters.

More information will follow during the winter of 2023/2024.

Your world just got bigger.

The EDUC alliance was established in 2019, and USN came on board in 2022. We are still working to establish new infrastructure and innovative solutions, which will soon, and increasingly, enable USN employees to collaborate with and relocate easily between the EDUC alliance's eight universities.

By autumn 2024 we will have a lot in place, and it will mark a watershed for our participation in EDUC.
